| Cassie protects her kids in The Holding |
This year’s Phoenix FearCon will feature four full length films, two of which come from across the pond. The first of these two UK films is The Holding, the debut feature from director Susan Jacobson and writer James Dorner.
On an isolated farm in the English countryside, Cassie Naylor kills her husband to protect her daughters from him. Eight months later, when the charming drifter Aden turns up, her terrible secret comes back to haunt her in the most horrifying and unexpected way.
The film stars Vincent Regan (Lockout, 300), Kierston Wareing (Fish Tank), and David Bradley (Harry Potter series) and can be see Saturday, October 13 and UltraStar Cinemas as part of Phoenix FearCon V.
