About a month ago I interviewed independent filmmaker Travis Mills (read that here) and he talked about some of the upcoming plans for Running Wild Films. Maybe the most ambitious of these plans is what they have in store for 2013 – 52 Shorts, 52 Weeks.
Basically the idea is to make one short film per week throughout the upcoming year which each film being based on short stories that are available in the public domain. This includes works by authors such as Mark Twain and Edgar Allan Poe. The films will then be released in 2014.
Mills recently launched a KickStarter campaign to raise money for the project. Head on over to the 52 Shorts, 52 Weeks KickStarter campaign and toss a few bucks their way. Every dollar helps.
