Help Make THE LAST FRANKENSTEIN Possible

An "existential slasher" film crafted in the style of 70's-80's exploitation cinema, featuring genre icons Roger Perry and Jim Boelsen.

THE LAST FRANKENSTEIN is a new film currently in the works from director David Weaver. Here's a brief synopsis of the film:

THE LAST FRANKENSTEIN is a modern day spin-off of Mary Shelley's classic horror story. It centers on Jason Frankenstein, the last of his line. Buried in a dormant life and a dead end relationship, Jason finds himself frustratingly approaching his mid years with little progress to show towards carrying forward his family's experiment. But when a creature from his past brutally reappears, he is catalyzed to finally complete his work. With the help of a pair of drug dealing paramedics and a nurse with a shady past, he sets down the blood-soaked path to create a living being from the bodies of the dead.

Sounds promising, doesn't it? Of course to pull it off you need someone who really  loves and respects the genre. Fortunately Weaver fits that bill perfectly.

The movie is already currently moving along nicely, but is in need of some funds to get everything finished. To get the funds Weaver and gang have turned to Kickstarter. The rewards are plenty and include credit in the film, copies of the film, one sheets and more. So the incentive to donate is most certainly there.

The campaign ends in just under two weeks on June 5th, 2015 and currently they are a little more than half way past their goal. So check out the link below, watch the video on the Kickstarter page and then maybe pass a few bones Weaver's way.
