Mike Relm, who is best known for his audio and video mash-ups, collaborated with Field Day to show viewers what happens in the first seconds of a zombie apocalypse in SUPER SLOW MOTION. Field Day is a new experimental channel from YouTube Spaces designed to inspire YouTube stars to push the boundaries of their creativity.
This epic and very bloody story depicts the beginning of the end of the world. Watch as the doctors are overrun by zombies with their very own revolutionary medical find. The video was shot in 10 seconds with a high speed camera and played back in captivating slow motion to the background of a new track from DJ Mike Relm.
Field Day debuted with several videos, including the viral hit "100 Years of Beauty: Aging" with Cut a few weeks ago. The video has generated over 15 million views and had the world falling in love with a soon-to-be-married couple as they took a glimpse into the future. Using prosthetic make up, Field Day gave the couple an opportunity to see their future selves at the age of 50, 70, and 90. The results were emotional and touching.
Other videos on Field Day include:
- Vsauce (8.7 millions subscribers), the Webby-nominated YouTube channel devoted to exploring science and education topics, visits the tiny town of Whittier, Alaska to investigate this remote town where almost all the occupants live and work in large one building. With a population of 222 and only accessible by land via a single lane, two mile tunnel that stretches through many of Alaska’s most dangerous mountains and glaciers, Michael wanted to see what makes the residents tick. - Game Theorists (4.4 million subscribers) - YouTube personality MatPat and his channel Game Theory are famous for myth-busting the accuracy of popular video games through extensive research and expert theories and facts. In Game Theory’s latest series, Reality Check, MatPat and crew jump off the couch and into the air in order to test the physics of the Star Fox video game. MatPat was paired with a stunt pilot so that he could take to the skies and attempt the same daredevil aerial movements seen in the video game. Fox McCloud, himself, would be impressed.
