Upstream Color - Many best of the year lists are already out and this film is all over them. The film is a head trip and may not be for everyone but many found this enigmatic thriller mesmerizing.
King Kelly - A dark, funny look at the current generation's obsession with Internet fame and status updates. King Kelly is a webcam stripper who pushes the limits in the pursuit of her fame.
Pieta - This South Korean film follows an enforcer of a loan shark who starts to re-examine his life and morals when a woman shows up claiming to be his mother, who abandoned him as a child.
Grabbers - This horror-comedy isn't very memorable but it is fun for its short running time. A small town is ransacked by monsters. The locals figure out they don't want to suck out your blood if you are drunk. Inebriated hilarity ensues.
Berberian Sound Studio - Almost a classic but ruined by the final act, this film is still worth hitting play on. The imagery and music work so well together and create some truly memorable moments.
